Welcome to our Parenting Group – a space dedicated to supporting each other in the incredible journey of raising our precious children. To ensure a positive and enriching experience for all members, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Information Sharing:
Utilize this group to exchange valuable insights about local resources.
Share ideas on effective parenting strategies that contribute to the well-being of our children.
Community Engagement:
Feel free to post details about community events, both registered and drop-in programs at local libraries, early year centers, parenting centers, etc.
Include relevant information such as event flyers (or website links), photographs, or detailed descriptions.
Collaboration and Influence:
Work collectively to influence program providers by expressing shared interests, potentially leading to changes in time or venue for the benefit of the group.
Group Activities:
Organize playtime activities during the beautiful seasons, fostering a sense of community among our children. Ideas include visits to petting zoos, local zoos, picnics in the park, swimming, etc.
Explore possibilities like group passes for zoo visits available through our local library.
Privacy and Safety:
Refrain from sharing home addresses, children's names, ages, or gender in the group. Share such details only through private chat with those you are comfortable with.
Photo/Video Sharing Etiquette:
Obtain explicit consent before sharing pictures of other children on social networks or within messaging apps like WhatsApp.
Courtesy and Respect:
Foster a culture of courtesy, politeness, and generosity within the group. Set a positive example for our children by treating each other with respect.
No Advertising:
Avoid promoting personal or commercial entities within the group. Let's maintain a space focused on genuine support and shared experiences.
Remember, our overarching goal is to create a loving, caring, and safe environment for our children to learn, grow, and flourish together. By joining forces, we can build a supportive community that enriches the parenting journey for everyone.
